This 25 pg softcover booklet in fine shape,  except for prior owner's name  inked on back cover. 
This book gives you straightforward, detailed, and easy to follow instructions on how to cover cardboard with fabric, using fabric glue, carpet tape and the minimal use of a sewing machine.   These frames are a great way to display your own needlework, or make a unique photo frame as a gift.

How To Work with Raffia vintage book

This vintage softcover book, titled "How to Work with Raffia", was published in 1955.  It is 57 pages long & measures 6 x 9 in. The pages are clean and unmarked. The covers do show some creasing and some of the back pages also show some old indentations, perhaps from a paperclip long ago?

The book includes instructions on how to braid, wind and crochet with raffia. Patterns are included for mats, trays, vases, hats, beach shoes, lamp shades, bags, and many different kinds of baskets. 29 projects in all.

This vintage 34 page softcover booklet was published in 1976.  It features Vexar craft netting to make outside plant hangers, but the patterns would work great for any macrame cords.  These retro planters are very dramatic and attention-getting.  Booklet in mint condition & lavishly illustrated in color.
