Once again, I find myself needing to make a card and about one hour free to do it. My favorite go-to book in my papercraft library is Fast, Fun Cards by Emma Hardy. I used her full size patterns to cut up some fanciful flowers parts and leaves for a springtime collage. The colorful flower brads in the center of the big flowers came from Michaels.
I couldn't resist using some scrap pieces of new patterned papers, but I think that solid colors would have had more pop. Anyway, I like how it turned out and the next one will be even better better! And I plan to keep the flower templates right at hand, so that I can cut shapes from paper scraps as I accumulate them. That way, I will always have the parts right at hand to make a flower collage card. That's what I call a fast and easy card project - and fun too.
