QUEUE

I have a lot of vintage magazines with knit and crochet projects I plan to make.  But as they are not sourced on Ravelry, I can't add them to a queue there.  So I thought this would be a good place to record them for my purposes, and also to share them with any visitors.

Picture
crocheted Librarian's Vest  -  Man's small size has 42" finished chest size and takes 9 skeins of Aarlan Arwetta.  Crochet hook 3/G for gauge: 24 sc = 4 in.  Yarn is a discontinued fingering weight 75/25 wool/nylon blend.  I like the classic style and broken cable rib done with front post stitches.

knit Petite Fleur Cardigan - a 41" finished bust size takes 12 balls of W. West Romance.  US #8 for 20 stitches gauge.  Yarn is discontinued worsted weight 50/50 wool/rayon blend.  The flowers and leaves are knit-in bobbles.  BTW, this is an early design by Norah Gaughan.

Jacquard Pullover knit with Pingofine yarn.  Gauge is 26 stitches w/ #3 needles.  The jacquard yoke detail is striking.

Pingouin No 62

Six different knit vests.  Or call them "sleeveless cardigans".  They are the most versatile thing in anyone's closet.  These feature cables, jacquard styling, beaded ribs, or flat ribbing.  All are worked in Pingofrance or Confortable Fin.
